AI WEIWEI DISPOSITION

The publication comprises landmark works showing Ai Weiwei at the height of his artistic and polemic powers. It marks the Dispositio n exhibition in Venice, presented as one of the collateral events of the 55th Biennale, but also presents a survey of the artist's l ife and career paths between 2008 and 2013. One of the keys to interpreting the exhibition is the fact that its two component projec ts, Straight and S.A.C.R.E.D., have great internal consistency, as one appears to develop from the other.
